Idiopathic Multicentric Castleman Disease Symptom Burden Study (ISBUS) is a research project that aims to create a scale to measure the symptom burden of idiopathic Multicentric Castleman Disease (iMCD).
It aims to produce a novel patient reported outcome measurement tool that can be utilized in clinical practice.

As a rare disease, iMCD requires your support to achieve the needed patient recruitment. Your participation is invaluable to us as we work towards developing a novel Symptom Burden Scale for individuals living with idiopathic Multicentric Castleman Disease.

The study began in 2023 with ethics approvals being granted in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Stages 1 and 2 have now been completed and Stage 3 will commence soon.
